Who we are: “Reservoir” is provided by PACE WELLNESS LTD, 26 Highlever Road, W10 6PS, London, UK.

1) Using Reservoir

  • You must be 16+ to use the app.
  • Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • We may update or change features at any time.

2) Health & safety (important)

Reservoir offers breathwork and wellbeing content.

  • Not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.
  • If you feel unwell (dizzy, faint, short of breath), stop and seek professional advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
  • You choose whether the activities are suitable for you.

3) Your content

  • You own content you add (e.g., notes).
  • You give us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it only to operate and improve Reservoir.
  • Don't upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

4) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (e.g., name, email, year of birth, gender, training data) and how we use it.

5) Intellectual property

The app, brand, code, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. Don't copy, modify, or reverse-engineer.

6) Availability & changes

We aim for reliable service, but the app is provided "as is." We may suspend, restrict, or end access if you breach these terms or create risk.

7) Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (e.g., lost profits or data).

Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8) Ending your account

  • You can delete your account by emailing us at charles@reservoir.health
  • We may retain minimal records if required by law. Sections on IP, liability, and dispute terms continue after termination.

9) App Store terms (iOS)

Apple isn't responsible for support or claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for iOS downloads.

10) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

11) Changes

We'll update this page and the date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email.

1) What data we collect

  • Account: first name, last name, email, password (hashed).
  • Profile: year of birth, gender.
  • Breathwork training data: sessions completed, duration, exercises, settings, timestamps, progress, reassessments, and any notes you add.
  • Device/technical: device model, OS, app version, language, IP address (for security), crash/diagnostic logs, basic analytics.

2) How we use your data

  • Run the app: create/manage your account; save and display your training history.
  • Personalise & improve: show relevant features, track trends, fix bugs, secure the app.
  • Communicate: service messages (e.g., login, security, changes).
  • Marketing (optional): emails and notifications only if you opt in; you can opt out anytime.
  • Legal: comply with laws and enforce our terms.

3) Legal bases (UK GDPR / DPA 2018)

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to provide the app you requested.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security, analytics, and improvement (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for direct marketing (emails/push) and any other optional features.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where the law requires.

We don't ask for medical records. Training data relates to wellbeing and is processed under the bases above and your use of the app.

4) Sharing your data

We share data only with:

  • Service providers (hosting, analytics, email, crash reporting) under contracts that protect your data.
  • App stores for distribution and fraud prevention.
  • Legal/safety reasons (e.g., lawful requests, to prevent harm).
  • Business changes (e.g., merger/sale) with protections carried over.

We do not sell your personal data.

5) International transfers

If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., ICO-approved/Standard Contractual Clauses).

6) Data retention

  • Account and training data: kept while your account is active.
  • If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within 30–90 days, except where law requires limited retention (e.g., transaction records if applicable).

7) Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. You can withdraw consent at any time (doesn't affect past processing).

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with our response.

8) Children

Reservoir is for users 16+. We don't knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll remove the account.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure.

10) Third-party links

If we link to other sites, their privacy practices apply there.

11) Changes

We'll update this policy and the date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email.
